Stage 1 water use restrictions are in effect in the Village of Gold River as of May 1

Stage 1 Water Conservation Measures are now in effect as of May 1. These annual restrictions help reduce peak water demand and protect our water supply as we head into the drier months.

🚿 Lawn & Landscape Watering

Watering with sprinklers is permitted only on your designated days and times:

Even-numbered civic addresses
β€’ Water on even-numbered calendar days

Odd-numbered civic addresses
β€’ Water on odd-numbered calendar days

Permitted times
β€’ Hose or above-ground sprinklers:
7:00–10:00 a.m. and 7:00–10:00 p.m.
β€’ Underground automated systems:
Midnight–4:00 a.m.

(Special provisions apply to strata complexes and the Scout Lake Subdivision.)

βœ” Hand watering of gardens, shrubs, trees, and planters
βœ” Drip irrigation systems
βœ” Washing vehicles or boats with an automatic shut-off nozzle
βœ” Watering of public sports fields
βœ” Water use for fire protection, health, or safety
