Water Advisory: Stage 2 Restrictions Now in Effect
The Village of Gold River has implemented Stage 2 Water Conservation Measures due to Drought Level 3 conditions in the West Vancouver Island Basin.
Residents are required to follow mandatory outdoor watering restrictions to help conserve our water supply.
Watering Schedule
Even-numbered addresses:
- Tuesday & Friday
- 7:00–10:00 a.m. and 7:00–10:00 p.m. (hose sprinklers)
- 12:00–4:00 a.m. (automatic systems)
Odd-numbered addresses:
- Monday & Thursday
- Same times as above
Scout Lake / Burman Residents:
- High side (#501–513): Monday & Thursday
- Low side (#515–527): Tuesday & Friday
Strata complexes:
- Even units: even-numbered calendar days
- Odd units: odd-numbered calendar days
- Same permitted watering times
Permitted Uses
- Hand watering of gardens, trees, and shrubs
- Drip irrigation
- Water use for health and safety
- Fire prevention
- Municipal water park use
- Watering public fields (Mon/Wed/Sat)
- Approved permit uses
