Expanded Drop-off Depot Hours of Operation Change and Recycling Depot Closure

On June 2, 2021, the Comox Strathcona Waste Management will be closing the recycling depots located in the Shell parking lot and in the Recreation Complex parking lot. All recycling material will need to be dropped off at the Gold River transfer station located at 100 Hilke Road (Public Works Yard).

As a result, effective May 12, 2021, the hours of operation for the Public Works Drop-off depot (Transfer Station) will be expanded. The new hours will be Wednesday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 3:45 pm. This is an increase of two hours a day for residents to access the drop-off depot.
