Update to Council Procedure Bylaw
In accordance with Section 124(3) of the Community Charter, notice is hereby given that the Council of the Village of Gold River intends to consider amending “Council Procedure Bylaw No. 733, 2021”.
In general terms, the proposed procedure bylaw will change as follows:
- The order of proceedings will be have question Period moved before Notice of Motion.
- Voting will be recorded.
- Section 22.1 Notice of Motion will be added to provide better clarity on the Notice of Motion procedure.
