Annual Fire Hydrant Maintenance Program Starting
The Village of Gold River, Operations Department will be conducting
its annual fire hydrant maintenance program starting:
Thursday, March 14, 2024 until Thursday, April 11, 2024.
This includes flushing, greasing, pressure testing, and parts
replacement if needed.
Affected areas are: Matchlee Drive, Conuma Drive, Mount Heber Drive,
Golden Hinde Place, White Ridge Drive, Ucona Court and Industrial
Park Place.

If you notice discoloration in the water, run your cold water tap for up
to 10 minutes or until water runs clear. Avoid running hot water during
the flushing event.
Depot Closed / No Residential Garbage Pickup – February 28, 2024
As a result of the power outage and snow, the depot/transfer station is closed today, In addition, there will be no residential garbage pickup.
Residential garbage will be picked up on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Pool is closed this morning due to the power outage. Scheduled to open this evening at 5pm, subject to power being restored.
Garbage pickup moved to Thursday February 15th
There will be no garbage pickup on Wednesday February 14th, pickup will be on Thursday February 15th. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
Public Skating Cancelled
Public skating is cancelled on Friday, February 9, 2024..
Transfer Station / Drop off Depot
The Gold River Drop-Off Depot will be CASH ONLY until a replacement debit machine arrives. We are sorry for the Inconvenience.
