BDO Financial Sustainability Report

On December 3, 2018, Council received the BDO Financial Sustainability Report. Council has reviewed the report at length and, on August 17, 2020 directed staff to hold a public presentation on the findings of the report to gather public opinions and comments. Shortly after that direction we entered the COVID-19 pandemic to which staff has been unable to hold a public information session. Council is eagerly awaiting the public process when COVID-19 regulations allow for it.

Once the public information session occurs, staff will bring back public input to Council for consideration. From there, should there be recommendations from staff reports, or separate motions from Council, they will be considered at an open Council meeting. Again, Council is waiting for the public process to occur, and the findings of the public process to be presented to Council, before Council moves forward on any of the recommendations within the report.
